Yes: Allergies can develop at any time in your life. After 1 & 1/2 years of age seasonal or external allergies can occur at anytime. Why? Bad luck maybe? Genetic predispositions or just overexposure to the allergens - who knows?

Yes: Yes, drug allergies can develop over time. The body has to "see" a drug first and upon second or subsequent exposure can have a reaction. It is not exactly known why some people become allergic to certain medications and others do not.
