Many possibilities: Many reasons to cough, excluding infection. Ace inhibitors are known to cause dry cough. Asthma can cause coughing (rather than more common wheezing). Bad heartburn can cause cough, especially when laying down. So can post-nasal drip from allergies. Go see your family doc for a complete evaluation.
