What are the normal range of pvcs?

Depends: Pvcs are premature ventricular contractions. These can occur in healthy hearts or diseased hearts. A 12 lead electrocardiogram can be used to evaluate the location of pvcs. Those coming from higher up in the ventricle (or outflow tract) are usually benign (although not always). Those coming from bottom of heart are usually worrisome. These can range from very infrequent to a sequential run.

Define normal: Among people with no history of heart disease and normal heart imaging, over any given 24 hour period of time, 75% will have at least one pvc. There does not appear to be any evidence of long-term harm from low levels (< ~20, 000/day) of these premature ventricular contractions.
