Green: Rarely green urine can be caused by a bacterial infection called pseudomonas. Pail yellow is normal.

A 25-year-old female asked:
I have been having bright yellow (almost green) urine. What could this mean? How can I fix it?

Urine: Bright yellow urine is not necessarily abnormal and can be seen after taking some B vitamins or not drinking enough fluids. If you have further concerns have your physician order a urinalysis.

A 18-year-old female asked:
What does it mean for my urine to be a light green to light blue hue?

Mountain dew: usually it is coloring from what you ate or drank. The classic example is red beets. They make it look like you have blood in your urine. Green and blue are uncommon colors in urine. If you drink things with green and blue coloring, this is the most common reason. It should go away if you drink natural liquids like water, juice, milk . Public urinals often have colored chemicals in them.
