Slow down!: One day late doesn't mean anything; most women do not have periods like clockwork, and being early/late by several days is common. Home pregnancy tests now will show something after a week. If the test is positive, you have to decide whether this is a wanted or unwanted pregnancy. Counseling and help is available for either option; talk to your family physician or a trusted older woman friend.
