Depends....: If the heart attack is small, you may survive it relatively intact. But, if the heart attack involved a large portion of your heart, you may be left with significant impairment, if you survive at all. You need to decide if you would want resuscitation in the event your heart stops. It is possible to have a sudden cardiac arrest meaning your heart stops. See your doctor for options. God bless you!
