Carpal tunnel issues: Since not everything that looks like carpal tunnel is that, there may be something else that was the original problem or ....Many possible other explanations. Hand Consult: Get a consult with an experienced hand surgeon. Sometimes the original surgery was incomplete and may need to be redone. Carpal tunnel can also recur with successful surgery. Other causes such as spinal disease should be ruled out as well. A nerve test will help with the diagnosis.

Hand surgery consult: You would benefit from seeing an experienced hand surgeon.
