Many possibilities : If sexually active (oral, fingering, intercourse) this could be an std, like herpes. It may be an infected hair follicle, especially if you shave. Glands near the vaginal opening can become inflamed or a cyst can form. A painful condition, hidradenitis affects sweat glands. See a doctor asap. For pain: warm compresses, tylenol(1000), Ibuprofen (600mg). No underwear. Do not pick at the bump.
