Wash immediately: First and foremost, prevention is the key with the use of latex gloves, masks, and if necessary, protective clothing or gown. If exposed, wash the area immediately with copious amounts of warm soapy water for at least 30 seconds. Then report it to your employer's occupational health department and/or your doctor.

If your job: involves those types of materials in the workplace, then in order for your company to be compliant with federal/state regulations and to pass inspections, there are policies and procedures in place to cover such exposures. Immediately notify your supervisor or other appropriate management personnel. If that is not an option for whatever reason, seek medical attention for next steps.
