My son has been having sharp pains near his belly button. his labs , xray, ct is normal. pain gets intense at times but stays constant.?

Urachal cyst/sinus?: Pain in the belly button/navel which may radiate down to the bladder or pubic area could be from an abnormal urachus that has a cyst or sinus present and is irritated. Urinary complaints and drainage from the umbilicus (belly button) are other associated symptoms. See a general surgeon, for further evaluation. Labs and imaging may be normal even with a small sinus or cyst present.
