Calcium Deposits: What you are describing could be caused by calcium deposits under the skin (calcinosis cutis). This can happen in autoimmune conditions like lupus. You can get a definitive answer by seeing your doctor or a dermatologist and have a biopsy of one of the lumps. The biopsy will tell you and your doctor what is causing the lumps. Good luck to you.
