Is sepsis related to leukemia?

Somewhat: Leukemia is related to sepsis. It is a cause of sepsis as patients have a decreased immune system making them more susceptible to infection. Infection/sepsis does not cause leukemia.

Indirectly.: People with leukemia may have a low immunity making them at higher risk for developing an infection that may progress to sepsis.
