See physician: Many possibilities! that's why need to see doctor. Needs to know what makes it worse, would makes it better, exactly where it hurts. Does it interfere with or wake you from sleep. In that area are the stomach, left kidney, part of large intestine & the spleen. Can be from strained abdominal muscles.Upper left sided- stomach-stop spicy foods, caffeine, & alcohol. Lower- colon. Constipated-laxative.
