A member asked:

Are most sixteen year olds done with puberty?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Most are menarchal: In our epidemiologic studies, 95% of girls have started menses by age 16, and are pubertal. Early menses (<age 11) and late menses (16 and older) are associated with polycystic ovary syndrome (early and late) and major obesity (late). Particularly in early menarche, assessment for pcos is often indicated.
