Yes.: If the UTI continously reoccurs the antibiotic should be taken for as long as 30days to break the cycle.

Yes: Should discuss with your dr. He/she prescribed Diflucan (fluconazole) which is an anti-fungal agent and will not treat a uti. You certainly need to take an antibiotic for your uti. Good luck.
