what are the possible causes of feeling pain/tightness down below your rib cage? it's more of tightness than pain though.

Many causes: Tightness in the chest area can be a sign of a heart attack. If this persists, then you may want to go see a doctor asap. Urgent care or er. Other causes could be muscle soreness, gastrointestinal issues or lung issues. Please have your md evaluate you.
