No: If you have been taking contraceptive pills for six years without any problems, it is unlikely you will have any problems at all. There is no risk to future pregnancies but with all medications there can be side effects and risks. Talk with your doctor to review the potential risks of contraceptive pills such as high blood pressure, blood clots, gallstones, etc.
