Yes: After a pregnancy loss most patients will bleed. The length of time is variable from a few days to a few weeks. The normal menses should then resume. On occasion the bleeding continues, this may be a sign of retained tissue and should be investigated. The md will do blood tests, examination and ultrasound. If tissue is present a D&C or meds may be needed.

Yes: Yes, you should see your doctor. It may be normal, but it could also indicate that there may be pregnancy tissue left inside the uterus, or that you have an infection.
