Why does my hand keep going numb?

Squeezed nerves: Often carpal tunnel syndrome (nerve compressed in wrist) or ulnar nerve entrapment (at the funnybone area) can cause this...It is quite common. Also pinched nerve in the neck area can cause numbness to hands/fingers as well. It is difficult to accurately tell what you have based on the limited info you provided. Consult doc for an evaluation/treatment. Good luck.
