Today i check my son blood crp test .the result was positve .what does mean positive

Inflammation: C reactive protein is a marker of inflammation. What was the CRP level? Does he have fever? Why was the test done? What were other test results? Any lab test result needs to be interpreted in the context of the whole clinical situation/picture.
