A member asked:

How long can sperm survive once ejaculated into a woman's vagina?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

5-7 days: I usually tell my patients that an act of intercourse can result in pregnancy for up to about 5 days. I believe the longest reported length of time is 7 days. The sperm do not actually survive in the vagina but within the cervix.
