A member asked:

The ocular coherence tomography result of my brother indicates "shows boundary curves"? what does it means and the treatment for this?

Location?: The ocular coherence tomography(oct) is diagnosis device that is used for ocular tissue analysis. In order to answer your question, we need to know the location of study. It can be macula or optic nerve. If its macular changes it requires treatment either injection of medication into the retina or laser.

Boundary curves: This is not a typical nomenclature used to describe retinal or optic nerve pathology when describing oct tests. You need to discuss this with your eye doctor to determine what was found on the test since your description does not provide adequate information to know what was found.
