A member asked:

Why is the skin around my mouth always red and rashy? it has been like this for over a year.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Liplicker dermatitis: If you lick your lips alot, you may have dermatitis -cured w/moisturizers and vasaline. You could have perioral dermatitis-red bumps around the lips. The cause is unknown but cured with Hydrocortisone cream. You could have angular chelitis- yeast infection in the corners of the mouth cured with an antifungal. If it does not improve see your doctor since a year is a long time to suffer.
