Can doctors do an endometrial biopsy when you have period?

Yes: There are a few exceptions for infertility cases but for the most part it does not matter if you are still bleeding at the time of endometrial biopsy. In fact, the cervicl os or opening of the cervix is more open than usual making the biopsy slightly easier.

Endometrial biopsy: Endometrial biopsies are usually done prior to one's period to determine the cause of abnormal thickening of the endometrium. A pelvic ultrasound can determine if this is necessary. There are blood tests to determine ovulation, and endometrial biopsies are not generally necessary.
