U can get it: Your OB will need to make sure nothing else is going on, i always do a cmp and check blood pressure, to make sure nothing else is causing it and it has nothing to do with the sex, almost all of my pts see the sex on us but if u do not want to know then u cannot go by nausea you should be directing all ?S like this to your ob.

Yes and no: Nausea often returns in the third trimester usually because the enlarged uterus causes the stomach to be displaced and sometimes compressed. The speed at which the stomach empties is also decreased in pregnancy resulting in nausea. As for the gender, it does not play a role in these symptoms and can occur with either male or female fetuses.
