Depends on situation: When applied to the skin only a limited amount <2% is absorbed & effect minimal.Taken orally it is listed as a category c drug, meaning no adverse effects in human fetal development has been shown but animal studies are suggestive.No effect on fetal hair is mentioned in studies.
