Can be many things: Abdominal bloating can be due to diseases of the stomach, liver, kidneys, intestines, etc... A primary care doctor can evaluate and do some tests. Some doctors order ultrasound or ct scans if needed for looking inside the abdomen. The cause can be a minor problem, or if unlucky, a patient can have a very serious illness.
