No reason to wait: Urine pregnancy tests are very accurate, cheap and easy to do. Don't stress about it. Just do a test. These tests can detect a pregnancy about 5-7 days after unprotected intercourse. If you do not want to be pregnant see your doctor to discuss reliable birth control options.

Have you missed: your period since that episode of sexual intercourse? Plan B One-Step can reduce your risk of pregnancy by up to 95% if used within 24 hours of sex. If taken within 72 hours it can reduce risk of pregnancy by up to 89%. The timing of the intercourse would make pregnancy a lower risk. Take a home pregnancy test when in doubt.
