Pedialyte supplement: It is most important to keep the infant well hydrated with proper electrolyte solution such as pedialyte. As most of diarrheal illness is self-limiting, no other treatment will be necessary. In case infant develops a frank sign of dehydration, i.e., significant reduction in urine output, infant has to be seen.
