Yes: Yes. Chest pain in lupus can come from many different causes. Pleuritis, chest pain due to inflammation of the tissue surrounding the lung, is a diagnostic criteria for systemic lupus erythematosus. Patients with lupus can also get indigestion, pneumonia, blood clots, heart disease etc. That also cause chest pain.
