A member asked:

Is stomach pain part of opiate withdrawal?

Yes: Opiods have a slowing effect on gastomotility commonly causing side effects like constipation and nausea. Abrupt withdrawal of opioids from the system can cause rebound hypermotility of the GI tract which usually presents as diarrhea as well as GI spasm or craming causing abdominal pain (stomach pain).

Stomach withdrawal: Yes, stomach pain can certainly be a part of withdrawal. As can cramping and diarrhea. But be positive about how great it will be when you overcome your dependence.
