Moderation: The whole sun-exposure stuff confuses everyone. A very little exposure depending on your skin tone will get you enough vitamin d which you can also get from supplements; heavier exposure will photoage your skin and put you at a cancer risk. Vitamin d deficiency is very common especially in darker-skinned folks who live above the tropics.
