Yes: Botox is very effective for excessive sweating from the palms. It works quickly, has no major side effects, and can last 3-9 months depending on the amount of Botox that is used. It can temporarily cause the hand muscles to be a bit weaker, especially one's grip.

Yes but temporary: Botox (and Dysport and xeomin) can be very effective at reducing excessive sweating called hyperhydrosis in the armpits, palms and soles. The effect is temporary, and hand/feet injections can be painful, but for some it is a temporary miracle cure. Even after it wears off, many people feel the sweating is still much less than before treatment.

Botox and Sweating: Botox is an extremely effective treatment for hyperhydosis(sweating). The most common areas we use it is under the arms, hands and feet. The sweat production is significantly reduced for approximately 6-12 months after treatment. However, it usually do not completely stop.

Yes!: Botox can be used to stop the sweat glands of the hand from producing too much sweat (hyperhidrosis). The effects last 4-8 months. The two caveats of this are that it is a painful injection (emla (lidocaine and prilocaine) or hand block is helpful), also the Botox can go into the hand muscles weakening the hand grip.

Yes, BUT: You should try other things first. You can try 20% aluminum chloride (drysol) and keep plastic gloves over it for a few hours (usually while sleeping). You can also get 35%, 50%, 70% aluminum chloride. See a dermatologist.
