Steroid ointment : If your eyelids are dry and scaly, it is often due to an inflammatory etiology. Try otc Hydrocortisone 1% twice daily. If no improvement or worsening, see an eye doctor.

Red, dry, scaly patch on the outside corner of the eye since 2 months. Before that, discharge and red eye. Discharge was more in the morning. Took tobramycin (did not help) and then fluorometholone acetate which reduced discharge. ?
