No: Facial pain associated with muscular facial weakness lasting a month is quite unusual. Inflamed eye tissues from poor lid closure could cause pain. Spasm in unaffected muscle or TMJ problems could occur. Shingles involving facial nerve could result in persistent pain. So too could cancer, infected molars, tonsillitis/parotitis. Get re-examined by your doctor.
