Yes age dependent: Endometriosis simply lowers people's chances of pregnancy. For most under age 26 or so, pregnancy happens without help and is why 2-3 generations ago there was much less infertility. 26-~33 or so pregnancy is much less likely without treatment and mid to late 30's much much less likely and the need for ivf as a treatment comes in to play.
