Blood in stool : This could be many issues involving the lower intestinal tract. The most common cause is hemorrhoids but other more serious conditions such as colon cancer can cause this. See your regular doctor as soon as possible.

Blood in stool.: Possible causes of blood in stool include: fissures, fistulas, hemorrhoids, cancer, ulcers, infections, inflammation, Diverticular disease & Angiodysplasia . The absence of pain with bloody stools does not eliminate some possible serious causes. Recommend evaluation.
