Blood in stool.: There are many potential reasons for blood in the stool. Some of them are insignificant, but several of them, including colon polyps, colon cancer, and inflammatory bowel disease are important to have treated immediately. If you have not yet had an evaluation, you should go to your doctor right away. You may need a visit to a gastroenterologist. Good luck. Do not delay.
