Joints in my pinky fingers on both hands always crack when i bend/extend them-what could be causing that?

Really harmless.: This is most likely the release of gas caused by the temporary low pressure in extend ing or flexing these joints. If there is no pain, that is. If there is pain while doing this, then i would examine for tendinous and/or ligamentous issues.
