A member asked:

Can i use clear lax if i am on an antibiotic for a stomach infection such as h.pylori?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Should be ok, but...: When a person is taking antibiotics, he needs to allow time for the antibiotic to get absorbed from the stomach and small intestine, so the medication will get into the blood stream and go where it is needed. This is needed even though the h. Pylori is inside the stomach already. So, one can take the antibiotics and wait a few hours before taking the laxative.
