Yep.: Even low levels of human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG) will turn the over-the-counter urine pregnancy tests positive (albeit faintly) and are diagnostic of early pregnancy. Having said that, you still have a 1:3-1:4 chance for miscarriage and a low risk for ectopic, multifetal, molar pregnancy - therefore examination with transvaginal ultrasound is warranted as soon as possible. Take 1-5 mg folate (folic acid).
