Yes: Smoking while on Humira (adalimumab) can greatly increase your risk for developing a serious lung infection. It also makes treating your underlying autoimmune condition more difficult. This is in addition to the other negative health consequences of smoking.

Yes: While there is no interaction between smoking and humira (adalimumab), (adalimumab) smoking can worsen the manifestations of autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, etc. Smokers are more prone to infections while is an important issue when taking humira (adalimumab).
