I have a very irregular menstruation and sometimes having sexual intercourse hurts me and causes bleeding. why is that happening?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Irregular Menses: There could be many reasons for irregular menses including ovarian cysts, thyroid dysfunction, etc. Evaluation would require lab work and ultrasound. The pain and bleeding with intercourse is abnormal and if you haven't already had a GYN exam with pap smear, this should be your first step. Cervical cancer needs to be ruled out first and then the provider will assess for other causes.
