Doctor can evaluate: Numbness can mean different things to people. Usually, numbness is the sensation one gets when a nerve is compressed or blood circulation is decreased. A primary care or sports medicine doctor can evaluate the problem. Maybe there is some spasm in the vessels during exercise, decreasing blood supply to the feet or toes; or nerve compression in the feet from swelling or from movement of the bones.

Numb toes: Numb toes after a work out may be caused by a morton's neuroma. Check with your local podiatrist . Shoes if to snug could also be a cause.

Cardiac Eval: Look, of course I do not know you, but unless you are 9 ft tall, 343 is probably way overweight. The best way to find your answer would be to see a cardiologist and have a good cardiac evaluation, probably including a stress test and echocardiogram. They could then give you a rational program of exercise to help improve your health and/or make other suggestions.

Yes, take it slow: Mild muscle aches within the muscle groups worked is the rule and not the exception father a good workout. You can exercise through residual soreness on subsequent days. Just take it slow with a thorough warmup (stretching, aerobic training) to begin your workout.

Depends on a lot: Rest will not make a spur go away. Allevating the pressure on the toe which caused the spur to form is the key. If the area is inflammed and sore, rest may be helpful for a while. If the cause is not addressed, then the problem will return in a short time. The problem could be shoe pressure or pressure from another toe or another deformity.

Run for 20min: To get aerobic fitness, try running. Start with a 3minute jog on day one and repeat this for 3days. Then increase length of run by 2minutes every 3 times you run, and work your way upto 20mins. That is sufficient to give you stamina for high demand sports such as squash.
