Yes, it may: Frequent throat clearing is a sign of post nasal drip. Do you have allergic rhinitis. It will effect your singing voice because the drippage may collect on the vocal cord area and cause cough and tickling sensation during singing. Try saline nasal lavage/irrigation, antihistamines, steroid nasal sprays. See your physician or ENT if symptoms persists.
