I got a compression fracture and chipped a piece off of my l2 about 6 years ago, asprin, tylenol, (acetaminophen) ibuprophen does not help, what will?

Body work may help: Have you tried doing gentle yoga or maybe feldenkrais. Both modalities will help you improve posture and abdominal ("core") strength and, with a good teacher, can help reduce the pain. Also, some massage therapists are very good at helping alleviate muscle tightness and posture as well.

Agree: Agree with above, as well as ensuring this piece that broke off is not in precious territory. Usually they do not press on nerve or spinal cord but if so or if no better with conservative tx, then consider seeing a back surgeon.
