No: It does not really signal fertility. In fact, due to fluctuations in hormones, it is more likely to be a sign of infertility. That being said it usually does not affect your chances of becoming pregnant if you have otherwise regular periods. It is not related at all to the tubes. Sometimes it can be sign of low hormone levels which can be a result of poorly functioning ovaries/eggs.
