Possibly: Only with some specific motion tests and an MRI will you know for sure. If the symptoms are limiting what you have to do (not what you want to do) it is probably worthwhile having it checked by an orthopaedist.

It depends: 90% of the diagnosis comes from a thorough history and physical examination. Then you have a list of the possible things wrong with the shoulder and use the MRI to prove or disprove that list. Depending on the accident, shoulder stiffness can some from many reasons. I would get it evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon if not done already.
