A member asked:

Is it possible that someone with gluten antibodies only has to reduce gluten to eventually stop producing antibodies?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gluten-free: A gluten free diet in a person with antibodies will lower circulating levels of antibodies in response to this change in diet. This will result in relief of symptoms and digestive problems in most cases. However, the antibodies do not completely disappear, and reintroducing gluten to the diet will rev up production of the antibody.
