"Referred" pain?: If scapula symptoms are always coming at the same point in each menstrual cycle, it could be one of those cases where hormonal changes are causing pain sensations in the breasts, and then the pain signals in the breast nerves are somewhere crossing over onto the nerves that run from the scapula area so the brain thinks there is pain from the scapula. Ask the primary care or ob-gyn doctor to check.
